We3C Experts’ Forum - Georgetown University
Fifteen years following the Arab Spring, the experts’ forum critically examined the complex and contested political landscape of the MENA region, characterized by a persistent tension between democratic aspirations and the resurgence of authoritarian governance.
In light of the inauguration of the Trump administration, participants engaged in a rigorous analysis of the evolving contours of U.S. foreign policy and its multifaceted implications for governance structures, economic stability, and civic mobilization within the region.
The discourse culminated in the development of concrete policy recommendations and calls to action aimed at enhancing democratic resilience, promoting international cooperation, and empowering emerging generations of political actors and social innovators.
